My name is Walter Lundstrom. I live in Westerville, Ohio, and I'm a small business owner. I reached my target weight over four years ago, and my weight still has not returned! Since completing my program, I have no need to diet any more.

Weight Is No Longer An Issue

I've always been a happy person. So, it's a big deal to me that my weight is no longer an issue. I can dress and feel good about myself. I feel much younger than I used to. Except for my reading glasses, I would swear that I'm still 17 ½ years old! I feel more confident.

New Relationship With Food

My whole relationship to food has changed. 10 or so years ago, I went on a two-year boat trip with my wife. I ended up eating far too much on that trip. I became a big blob. This year I am looking forward to a 6-month trip with my wife. I know that, thanks to Positive Changes, I'm not going to repeat that experience. I'm no longer a person that has a weird relationship with food. Before, it didn't matter how much I ate. Within one or two hours I was hungry again. Now, I can choose to eat – or not. I'm in a very good place now.

Being Lighter Makes a Huge Difference

It feels good to be able to move and jump. I can play sports again. I always liked to be athletic, especially rowing. That's my main sport. Being lighter makes a huge difference in rowing, and in biking. For the record, I don't bicycle much anymore. I might bike two or three times a year, tops. I went on a bike trip with my son last summer. During an uphill stretch, I found myself passing all these people that are 35-40 years younger than me! It's nice to know that because I'm lighter, and do other sports, it really shows.

Earlier this year I went on a ski trip in Colorado. The house we stayed was at 9,500 feet, and you could tell there was very little oxygen that high up. You get winded just walking up a small hill. Well, I was walking up a hill with a young fellow from our group. He's 22 years old, and a coach with a degree in sports management. Of course, because he's young, so he took off in front of me. However, within about two minutes, I had caught up with him and walked right past him. I left him 100 yards behind because I felt so good.

I'm a competitive person, and I love a good challenge. Even though I'm still at my target weight from four years ago, I'm considering losing an additional 10 pounds. If I decide that's what I want to do, I know the way to do it – I'll start listening to my recorded processes again.

No Need To Diet

Just like everything else, there's no such thing as a free lunch. But if you follow the program, there's no need to diet. You don't have to starve yourself or feel hungry all the time. Before I came to Positive Changes, I would be really, really hungry if I didn't get food within two or three hours. Now, it's no problem for me to go four hours between meals without snacking. Positive Changes works, and it works in a really nice way. In contrast to everything else related to weight loss, there are no scales here. Nobody asks you how many pounds you lost. Each person is losing weight in their own way.

It's Like a Small Vacation Each Day

I'm really very satisfied. The key is to listen to the recordings. During my program, I listened to the recordings, and went to my sessions. Everything else took care of itself. The interesting thing was, I wasn't perfect. In spite of occasionally breaking some of the rules I set for myself, I still lost weight! I lost weight that I had never been able to lose before. In the past, the only way I had been able to lose weight was by following a very difficult, rigid plan. It was not difficult at all.

Listening to the hypnosis processes on a daily basis makes me feel very relaxed. If you are someone dealing with stress in your life, this is like having a small vacation for a few minutes every day. Of course, during a hypnosis session, I'm still present. If my wife or one of my kids comes and says hello, I am still in control. It's nothing like the stage hypnotism you would see at a show.

I found that if I have difficulty sleeping, I can turn on a process and I fall asleep right away. I'm amazed when I see myself making smarter decisions because all I did was listen to the recorded processes. It's a little bit like having a really good coach. You have a good mentor that gives you ideas and enables you to make smarter decisions when you are out and about.

I Don't Need to Worry About Poor Health

I have a great career and wonderful family. The weight was the one area I had always struggled with. I'm a lucky guy, and now I'm even more blessed – I don't need to worry any more about health problems from poor eating or poor weight control. It's just not an issue anymore. My name is Walter Lundstrom, I live in Westerville, Ohio and am self employed. I lost 30 pounds in 6 months thanks to the program at Positive Changes Hypnosis. Within the first 3 months on the program I had nearly reached my goal of losing 30 pounds. My weight loss continued steadily from that point. I Was Always On a Diet

I have been struggling with weight pretty much my whole life. I remember dieting even as a teenager and into my early twenties, which is kind of weird when you are a guy. I wasn't super fat, but I was always on the chubby side. I never felt full, no matter how much I ate. As I got older my weight would fluctuate more and more. It was not unusual for me to oscillate 50 pounds over a 24-month period. I would diet like crazy, but then I slowly gained it back. That's the way my life has been.

I had tried dieting numerous times since I was a teenager and was on the yo-yo diet at least 30 times in my life. I would do fad diets that encouraged losing weight quickly, but I have always known that a slow weight loss is better because it's healthy and permanent. I was never able to lose weight slowly. Instead, I would totally starve myself, lose weight and then immediately gain it all back, plus some. Positive Changes has been an amazing experience for me because I haven't been dieting. I have steadily lost pounds naturally and exactly the way it's supposed to be done.

I Would Eat a Bowl of Chips in Bed

Before Positive Changes, I would let evening snacking control me. Now, after my program, I'm finally in control. The problem time for me was right after dinner. I would start snacking as if I hadn't even eaten dinner. Then I would go to bed with a bowl of chips. I tried to break that habit; but it was very difficult to stop on my own.

My Program Was Individualized

I first learned about Positive Changes from a fellow parent – a really fit, middle-aged guy. We both had kids who were rowing, and had both started rowing ourselves. One day, he mentioned off-hand that he used to be 60 or 80 pounds heavier. This surprised me, because he looked like somebody who had been fit, slim and taking care of himself his whole life. I was curious, so we struck up a conversation. He told me that, no, that wasn't the case at all – he used to be a huge. My next question was (just like anyone who cares about the weight would ask) "Well, how the heck did you do it?" That was when he told me about Positive Changes. After a few more conversations with him, I called in for my free evaluation.

No Pressure Evaluation

Positive Changes designed a weight loss program for my friend and after I went in to talk to the evaluator, they designed one to fit my needs too. The evaluation was very nice and professional. I never felt pressured to sign up. I remember being very impressed with the whole process – the program was nice and professional. There was a system we followed, but it was all very individualized to me. They were very specific in what they would accomplish with me. My main question was: Will this work for me? Once I knew that the program worked I decided to sign up.

I Noticed Changes Within the First Week

When I first started my program at Positive Changes I have to admit that I was not 100% confident that the program would work for me. However, I felt like as long as I was joining the program I would do it with full passion, so I jumped in with both feet. One of the things I committed to was doing everything the staff at the center advised. That was the key to success. Now, I'm living proof that if you make the commitment, the program works. Within the first month, I started noticing that changes to my lifestyle and that I was losing weight. Within the first week, I noticed that I was able to fall asleep at night easier. The evening processes were like an instant sleeping pill for me. I still use them to fall asleep.

Confident in the Way I Look Now

Since losing 30 pounds with Positive Changes I have been able to be more active. I just did a bike race this weekend and weighing 30 pounds less really made going up those hills much easier. That was a great feeling. I play volleyball and row too. It's nice to know that if I need to take my shirt off when I get hot, I won't feel like a whale anymore. I am much more confident in the way I feel and how I look.

Never Deprived

I have always been a confident person, even before losing weight. But now, I have that extra assurance that I look and feel great. I feel better than ever before. I am in total control of my life and my eating habits. Since joining Positive Changes, my cravings for snacks have lessened completely. Every once in a while I will choose to have a snack, but it's at a totally different level. I used to love chocolate. Now, I can resist chocolate easily. I never feel deprived at Positive Changes, the way I would on a diet. Junk foods are just not as appealing to me as they used to be. They simply don't taste as good to me anymore.

Food No Longer Controls Me

My friends and family are very happy with my results. I get comments from people constantly. My wife has been so inspired by my weight loss that she's ready to sign up at Positive Changes too. The most important benefit I have received from my program at Positive Changes is being able to go to sleep at night without having to fill my stomach first. That's been an incredible change for me.
